I’ve been aware of the name Mike Watt for some time.
He was bassist for the Minutemen.
Somehow I got on his mailing list way back years ago, but never really
clicked with his vibe and music. Well, it’s clicked now.
The guy is a legend, and an inspiration.
The new header image you see is from his amazing collection
of pics from his home in San Pedro, California.
His radio show is completely worth a listen.
His ‘hoot page’ is refreshingly real, and
this vid of him with JMascis is sick!

Turns out they’ve implemented an mp3 search.
Right from their front page.

Since I own most of their material, I plugged in “Social Distortion”,
to see how good it was.
Five minutes later I had found and downloaded
an early demo tape I didnt know existed.
